Internationale 9. ASA-Recyclingtage

12th International Automobile Recycling Congress IARC 2012

After the big success of the 11th International Automobile Recycling Congress in Budapest, the Swiss organizer ICM AG will held its 12th International Automobile Recycling Congress IARC 2012 again in the beautiful city Budapest in Hungary.
Delegates from industry, authorities and academia will discuss and present news and challenges of the manufacturing and end-of-life vehicle (ELV) business. The congress will bring together the various links in the ELV recycling chain such as car manufacturers, metal and plastic scrap traders, recyclers, shredder operators and policy-makers from around the world.

Altlastensymposium 2012

Ziel des Altlastensymposiums 2012 ist es, einen konstruktiven interdisziplinären Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch aus den Bereichen Flächenrecycling und Altlastenmanagement zu fördern. Auf rechtlicher und fachlicher Ebene bringen die geplante Mantelverordnung Grundwasser/Ersatzbaustoffe/Bodenschutz und die Anfang 2011 in Kraft getretene Industrieemissionsrichtlinie 2010/75/EU Neuerungen und damit erheblichen Informations- und Diskussionsbedarf mit sich. 15. Internationaler Altpapiertag
18. und 19. April 2012, Düsseldorf
Zum 15. Internationalen Altpapiertag erwartet der bvse e.V. rund 600 Experten der Altpapierbranche aus dem In– und Ausland im Maritim Hotel, direkt am Düsseldorfer Flughafen.
Die Tagung wird, wie schon in den vergangenen Jahren, aktuelle Themen der Branche aufgreifen. Den festlichen Abschluss des 15. Internationalen Altpapiertages bildet der traditionelle bvse-Altpapierabend. Am Vorabend der Tagung, am 18. April, wird um 18.00 Uhr ein Get-Together für Frühanreisende angeboten. Die Veranstaltung wird in den Sprachen Deutsch und Englisch simultan gedolmetscht.

Metalriciclo-Recomat 2012

After four successful editions of Metalriciclo-Recomat, the exhibition dedicated to technologies for the recycling of metals and industrial materials, the event takes a leap and moves to Veronafiere, one of the most prestigious exhibition centres in Europe. In der Industrie ist der Wandel hin zu umweltschonender Produktion in vollem Gange. Wie eine aktuelle Umfrage der Felten Group zeigt, hat „Green Production“ inzwischen für 42 Prozent der Fertigungsunternehmen eine hohe Priorität – das ist ein Zuwachs von einem Drittel im Vergleich zur vorhergehenden Untersuchung im April 2011. Gründe für das Interesse an umwelt- und ressourcenschonenden Produktionsverfahren sind einerseits die weiterhin zu erwartenden stark ansteigenden Energie- und Rohstoffpreise sowie andererseits ein weiter zunehmendes Bewusstsein der Industrie für nachhaltiges Handeln.
„Im Rahmen der Leitmesse IndustrialGreenTec greifen wir diesen wichtigen Trend zur ‚Green Production’ in ganzer Bandbreite auf“, sagt Oliver Frese, Geschäftsbereichsleiter HANNOVER MESSE bei der Deutschen Messe AG. „Unsere Aussteller präsentieren Lösungen, Verfahren, Maschinen und Konzepte, die anderen Unternehmen bei der Umstellung auf ‚Green Production’ helfen. Jedes fünfte Industrieunternehmen hat der Felten-Group-Studie zufolge bereits eine Konzeption vorliegen, wie der Schritt hin zur ‚Green Production’ gelingen kann. Die Investitionen in entsprechende Maschinen, Energieeffizienz-Technologien oder Prozess- und Verfahrensänderungen, die beispielsweise zur Reduktion von Abfällen und Emissionen führen, stehen dabei oft unmittelbar bevor. Ziel von „Green Production“ ist es einerseits, den Einsatz knapper Rohstoffe wie Lithium, Kupfer oder Elementen der Seltenen Erden zu reduzieren, und andererseits im Rahmen der Produktion möglichst wenig Strom, Wasser, Gas oder andere Ressourcen einzusetzen. Entsprechende Maßnahmen sollen zu sinkenden Kosten führen und damit helfen, die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im internationalen Maßstab beizubehalten oder einen Wettbewerbsvorteil zu generieren. Hierzu können beispielsweise Lösungen aus den Bereichen Recycling, Automation oder Materialeffizienz beitragen, die ebenfalls im Rahmen der IndustrialGreenTec 2012 dargestellt werden.
„Green Production“ geht im ersten Schritt eine Analyse-, Planungs- und Konzeptionsaufgabe für produzierende Unternehmen voraus, die oftmals durch externe Dienstleister übernommen wird. Der Ausstellungsbereich der IndustrialGreenTec 2012 wird inhaltlich von einem Kompetenzzentrum begleitet – dort werden sich zum Thema „Green Production“ auch namhafte Dienstleister, Verbände und Institute präsentieren, die sich auf die Erstberatungen von Industrieunternehmen und Weiterentwicklung individueller Lösungsansätze spezialisiert haben.

Die IFAT ENTSORGA, Weltleitmesse für Wasser-, Abwasser-, Abfall- und Rohstoffwirtschaft, findet von 7. bis 11. Mai 2012 auf dem Gelände der Neuen Messe München statt. Die letzte Veranstaltung der Fachmesse zählte 2.730 Aussteller aus 49 Ländern und 109.589 Besucher aus 186 Ländern.

4. International Symposium On Energy From Biomass And Waste

The production of energy from alternative sources and its impact on climate change are among the main strategic tools implicated in the sustainable development of our society. Numerous types of biomass and wastes contribute towards the production of energy and reduction in the use of fossil fuels by means of biological, chemical and thermal processes. Existing biomass and waste to energy technologies are currently undergoing rapid development. Despite growing interest in the use of these technologies, in many countries their implementation remains limited.The aim of the Venice 2012 Symposium is to focus on the advances made in the application of technologies for energy recovery from biomass and waste and to encourage discussion in these fields.
